1. The job is finished. When am I going to be billed?
If
the work requested can be completed in less than a week, or is
less than $1,000, it will most likely be billed in under a month.
If the job takes longer than a week and exceeds $1,000, a partial
billing will occur monthly until complete.
2. I have an old bill that hasn't been processed. What's going on?
Due
to unforeseen circumstances, we are currently processing old billings.
All this work will be complete soon.
3. I submitted an incorrect chart string. What should I do?
Contact
us with the correct one and we will credit the funds back to the
wrong chart string and bill the new one.
4. Will I receive an ending statement?
Upon
completion and billing of a job, you will receive a recharge statement
(the amount billed) and a copy of the original work order submitted.
5. Can I receive a copy of the BFS journal entry?
Yes,
you can upon request. Or we can also provide you with a journal
ID number.
6. The amount I was charged was greater than the quoted estimate
price.
Any
time you have changes to the original scope of work, the price
of the job will tend to increase. Any unforeseen structural work
will also augment the final price. If hazardous materials are
found during the job, we most likely had to hire a subcontractor
to remove them which also adds to the cost. If none of these apply
to you, please contact AFO.
7. Can AFO provide me with detailed information for time and materials
charged?
Yes,
but only upon request.
8. Can I split the bill into more than one chart strings?
Yes,
but please provide us with the percentage that you would like
each to be charged.
